A Random Class in IIT Madras: Crash Proof Pani Pooris Updates and Results
This post is about several things at once.
First of all results of the pani poori competition.
One last pani poori vehicle before that.
This is Kartik @ ED dept.com. and he is holding his pani poori crash lander.
Almost all,.....actually all the pani pooris survived and prof attributed it to the cushioning used by all the teams. But the day belonged to this design
The text on the lander reads "Dont' worry paani poori....All izz Well :) " . the design was made by the champions of GE Edison Energy challenge.
the pani poori was kept in the bucket and it landed on the soft cushion provided below the paper. The pani poori flew into air due to the shock of landing.....and landed once again...rolled....for a few feeets...and survived.
Prof comments " The team was more worried about the problem statement than about the comfort of the pani-poori.
Well this was it. Today was a solar eclipse and the atmosphere was really different. I clicked this by mobile.
The Solar Eclipse did strange things to our hostel staff in particular
and to monkeys in general who sought answers for the phenomenon in all wrong places
